Automatic BLF and Speed Dial Labels​

Added BLF Label under System Settings → Devices and Account Settings → Devices to control the automatic labels for BLF and speed dial keys that target account extensions.

Highlights

  • Build labels using {extension}, {name}, {first_name}, and {last_name}.
  • Use formats such as {first_name} {last_name} or {extension} - {name}.
  • Set a system default and override it for individual accounts.
  • Preview generated labels in the Device and Device Key Template editors.
  • Keep labels entered directly on individual keys.
  • Fall back to the extension number when the requested name information is unavailable.

The default is {name}. Leave a key's Label blank to follow the configured format.

Improvements and fixes​

  • Applied automatic label formatting consistently across native and legacy provisioning, including device-level provisioning overrides.
  • Kept phone line display names and BLF labels independently configurable while using the same name placeholders and fallback behavior.
