FS PBX v2.0.4
What's new
Sangoma Phone Provisioning
Added native provisioning templates for Sangoma P-Series, S-Series, and supported Digium/Sangoma D-Series phones.
Highlights
- Provision SIP accounts and programmable keys.
- Use Device Key Templates or individual device key assignments.
- Configure model-appropriate time zones, SIP transport, and outbound proxies.
- Configure D50/D70 side keys and D65 EXP150 expansion keys.
- Follow dedicated setup guides for each phone family.
Available features depend on the model and firmware. The D80 is excluded.
Contact Center Agent History and Cooldowns
The updated Contact Center module shows why an agent is temporarily waiting before receiving another call and provides a history of availability changes and failed offers.
Highlights
- Show countdowns for failed-call retry delays and post-call wrap-up.
- Display reasons such as declined calls, busy phones, no answer, and offline phones when available.
- Open Agent history directly from the dashboard.
- Review individual agents or the agents in selected queues.
- Filter history by date and event type.
- Retain recorded history for 90 days.
Queue Position in Hold Audio Sequences
Contact Center audio sequences now support queue-position announcement steps.
Highlights
- Place position announcements between music, greetings, and callback offers.
- Add multiple position steps within a sequence.
- Announce the caller's current position whenever the sequence reaches that step, including later loops.
- Preview announcements alongside the other sequence steps.
- Skip unavailable positions without stopping playback.
In Audio sequence mode, greetings and position announcements are controlled by the sequence itself, preventing separate periodic announcements from interrupting clips.
Native Number Translations
Added System Settings → Number Translations for managing reusable phone-number rewriting rules.
Highlights
- Create, edit, enable, and delete translation profiles.
- Add regular-expression matching and replacement rules.
- Drag rules into the required order; the first matching rule wins.
- Search profiles and review their rules.
- Synchronize saved profiles with FreeSWITCH and retry synchronization using Sync.
Profiles must be explicitly used by a dialplan. Creating or enabling a profile does not automatically change call routing.
Company Caller ID Controls
Company caller ID defaults can now be reviewed and managed directly from the extension editor.
Highlights
- See the number used by Main Company Number and Company Emergency Number.
- Set up or edit company outbound and emergency caller ID names and numbers.
- Identify missing or disabled company defaults.
- Apply changes across extensions that use the company defaults.
Custom or shared caller ID rules remain managed through Dialplan Manager.
Scheduled S3 Upload Server
Scheduled recording uploads now support the shared Scheduled job server controls.
Highlights
- Select the upload server alongside other coordinated background jobs.
- Allow the current recording to finish during an ownership transfer.
- Verify uploaded recordings before updating Call History references.
- Preserve source recordings when uploads or verification fail.
- Retry interrupted local cleanup.
- Defer recordings that have not yet arrived through file synchronization.
Existing archive filenames, folder layouts, upload schedules, limits, and account storage settings are preserved.
SIP Diversion for Forwarded Calls
Added Diversion handling for supported forwarding paths so an outbound SIP gateway can receive the original called business number and existing diversion information.
Ordinary outbound calls without an original inbound number do not receive a generated Diversion header. Existing administrator-supplied header overrides are preserved.
Improvements and fixes
- Added a Calls today dashboard card with inbound, outbound, and local call totals, an hourly chart, and a Call History link.
- Added extensive German and Italian interface translations.
- Improved Contact Center queue-agent duration calculations when calls continue to another destination after leaving the queue.
- Improved LDAP extension reassignment while preserving manual assignments.
- Added a setting to choose whether new outbound routes initially use global scope or the current account.
- Added a Yealink outbound-proxy enable setting and a configurable backlight timeout setting.
- Fixed recording lookup and archival issues affecting S3 uploads.
- The Ringotel upgrade repair now skips organizations that no longer exist instead of stopping the update for that condition.
- Expanded trunk-provider and phone-provisioning documentation.
Upgrade notes
Update both FS PBX and the Contact Center module to receive the agent-history and audio-sequence changes.
For coordinated S3 uploads, enable scheduled_jobs.s3_upload_calls with value true and configure the Scheduled job server. Redundant installations need approved nodes, synchronized recordings, and the required database replication before switching ownership. Storage credentials alone do not enable uploads.
Existing outbound routes receive new Diversion actions in a disabled state. Enable the applicable actions and save the route to activate them. Review the update summary for skipped custom or unsupported routes, which are preserved for manual review.
Number Translations require FreeSWITCH mod_translate and dialplan rules that use the selected profile.
